Damages and issues

We have a 5-day return policy, which means you have 5 days after receiving your fine art print to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your fine art print must be the wrong item or damaged from the shipping process and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at info@jlfineart.co.za. You will need to include photographs in your email of the damaged item or wrong item that you have received. You will need to ship the fine art print to an address we provide after we have received a return request. Please note that a 20% restocking fee will be charged to the customer for the order under dispute regardless of the reason for return.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label via email, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

No returns are applied to original artworks as the original cannot be created again. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. We will attempt to find a feasible solution that will be reasonable toward the art collector and to the artist in the case of an original artwork that was damaged during the shipping process.   

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the return was approved or not.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
